For such a tiny tool, this gadget performs a gigantic service to locksmiths every single day. Used to spin a picked lock plug all the way past the locking position so that the lock remains picked (but with keyway orientated to the opposite side of the 12 o'clock point), it is capable of saving a lot of time and grief.

Sometimes locks are picked the 'wrong way' unintentionally . . . other times a lock refuses to pick the 'right' direction but will pick the other way.  In either case, using a plug spinner saves the locksmith from re-picking (which in some cases can be a problem).  We have chosen a few of the very best spinners on the market.
