CUTAWAY 6-PINNED PRACTICE LOCKS WITH COMMERCIAL KEYWAYS

FINALLY!

In response to quite a few buyer suggestions, we are now offering several new cutaway locks that seem, at this point, to be available nowhere else.  These new lock cylinders sport three of the most commonly encountered commercial keyways; Corbin 89, Sargent LA, and Yale YGA.  Each of these locks comes fully pinned with 6-pin combinations that are relatively difficult to pick.  Note that we try to avoid any duplication of combinations – in other words, we vary the combinations so that there are, ideally, no duplications.

While cutaway locks are primarily considered the ideal "beginner's" lock, they have become extremely popular with lock picking enthusiasts of every skill level over the last few years.  We are happy to be the first to expand the available choices for cutaway beyond just Kwikset and Schlage keyways.

These high quality cylinders are "KIK" (key-in-knob) style and they will fit our TriPik-II, TriPik, TriPik-3, Universal, Locksport-XPC and Cyclops Practice Lock Stands.  The pin bible (upper pin chamber) has been meticulously milled down to reveal the top pins and springs, and we have also milled a slot between the pin bible and the barrel of the cylinder.  They are also fully functional as practice locks -- meaning you do not have to worry about parts spilling out when you pick them.

Each lock comes with one working key.  These locks can be rekeyed using standard techniques and tools, so, in you have a pin kit, you can set your lock up to represent the level of picking challenge you feel most comfortable with.
