For the first time ever we have a pick gun that will strike pins in a true vertical motion rather than at an angle.  It is basically a 2-phase motion, where a pull of the trigger makes the needle strike the pins twice. This will save energy (picking a lock with a manual pick gun can be tough on the trigger finger, leading to fatigue and thus a loss of effectiveness). And another great plus is that the needles can be changed out with the turn of a comfortable thumb screw - no need to carry around a jeweler's screwdriver.
