HPC CO-71 Double "L" Car Opening Tool - Works Wonders on Vehicles With Horizontal Linkage

Used to open vehicles which use a horitzontal rod in the locking system as opposed to the usual vertical rod linkage. There are a great number of cars and trucks on the road for which this tool is a necessity.  Easy to use, it is generally unnecessary to use a light or scope when manipulating a lock rode that runs horizontally -- though it certainly can't hurt to provide light on the subject!  I'd suggest a good fiber optic scope, like our SLIPV100, which has a magnifying lens in the scope itself and a very bright bulb.

There are several kinds of horizontal rod tools similar to the CO-71 and it is a good idea to have a few different varieties.  Some have a shorter reach than others, and some have a reverse hook.
