THE LASSO TOOL, SUPER CHEAP WAY TO SERVICE SOME AUTO LOCKOUTS

This amazing little strip of tough vinyl is used to lift mushroom-shaped vertical lock buttons. Slips into car interior between edge of window glass and frame of door, or between frame of window and frame of car. Semi-rigid plastic material resists cracking, tearing and will not mar paint.

It's true that the mushroom shaped lock button has pretty much gone the way of the dinosaurs, but keep in mind that there are plenty of old cars and trucks still on the road.  For the cost of a CO73 Lasso, it wouldn't make much sense NOT to have a couple of them.  Any time you run into an old 1970's or older vehicle that has this kind of locking system, you can rely on this tool to get you in with a minimum of fuss, no risk of damage at all, and a very quick buck in your pocket.
