We know that a lot of hobbyists and students of locksmithing are eager to learn not only lock picking, but lock rekeying as well.  We already have a popular line of easily rekeyed practice locks (EZ Rekey Practice Locks), and they are supplied with an assortment of random pins which enable the user to create literally thousands of different combinations.  But because these extra pins are of unmarked size and are intended to be useful as a means of picking different combos, the EZ Rekey lock is not particularly suited for training oneself to rekey locks to specific, known combos, or to fit specific, pre-cut keys.

That's why we are introducing this exciting new practice kit.  It gives you a pair of practice locks (one with a Kwikset keyway, one with a Schlage keyway), a full sized LAB pinning kit loaded with the correct size tumblers for those two keyways, and tools allowing you to rekey them in the conventional and industry-accepted manner (by removing the plug with a plug follower and setting up the combo according to an existing key OR a combination you come up with in your head).  This allows teaching oneself both lock rekeying and lock picking.  You'll have maximum capacity for growth in both areas partly due to the fact that both practice locks are drilled for 6 pins!  This means each lock has a potential for over (get this!) 400,000 possible combinations.
