Choose between SC (Schlage) keyway and KW (Kwikset) keyway.  Be aware that the SC keyway is just a tad harder to master because of its shape, but many people like to start out with a challenge.  If you want the easiest keyway to get started with, you might consider choosing the KW option.

We chose the Cyclops Stand as the default in this kit because it is so well suited for both standard and cutaway KIK locks.  It has a 4"x4" solid aluminum base and the "head" of the stand is perched atop a completely adjustable ball-socket joint.  You can lock the head in any position throughout a 360-degree circle (practice with your lock upside down occasionally!), and it also allows a measure of extension.  This makes it easy to put your practice lock exactly where you want it.
