WLR-5 - Set of Five Wafer Readers from Peterson Tools

Another fine tool from Peterson, which should find a place in every automotive locksmith's tool box.  Reading wafers within a lock cylinder is a valuable but rare skill.  Many locksmiths have never tried it, while many others rely on the procedure to decode automotive door locks.  It's a skill that takes some practice like any other but, as they say, it's not rocket science and a little practice goes a long way.

You'll find the WLR-5 to be excellent to work with.  It is actually a set of tools, making it fairly easy to find just the right one for any specific door lock.  Ignition locks in many cases can also be read using these tools, though more and more of them in late model vehicles are proving difficult for this approach.
