- TriPik-II, by far our best selling practice lock stand

The TriPik-II (aka TriPik-2) has a solid aluminum 4"x4" base and the "head" is solid PVC.  It sits atop a fully adjustable ball and socket joint which can be firmly locked at any position through a full circle and can also extend forward up to about 2 inches.  Each lock port features a threaded nylon thumb screw to assure your practice lock is firmly held.  TriPik-II can hold up to three KIK-style practice lock cylinders, though you can load only one at a time if you prefer.  The center port is slightly widened which makes it ideal for holding cutaway locks, allowing an improved view of the side of the cylinder.

The kit includes (6) practice locks, each lock with its own working key.  Three of the six have Kwikset keyway and the other three have Schlage keyway.  Of these, one Kwikset and one Schlage are CutAway locks -- perfect for beginners because you can see everything that goes on within the lock as you work with it.  ALL THESE LOCKS CAN BE REKEYED!  If you know how to rekey and you have the necessary tools, you can rekey them in the conventional manner.  If you don't know how to rekey locks and you have no special tools, you can STILL rekey them!  Each lock features a snap-on top retainer which allows you to remove it and replace it easily, all you need to remove it is a standard flat blade screwdriver and the cap snaps back into place.  This means you can simply dump all the springs and tumblers and scramble the combination.  Essentially, the six locks you receive are equal to THOUSANDS of locks because you can rekey them at any time!  Our locks are of exceptionally high quality, too -- closely approximating original brands in terms of tolerances.

Included in the kit is a long-time internet staple called the MIT Lock Picking Guide.  This is a bonus as we do not sell this item individually.  It is on a CD-ROM and is in Acrobat PDF format, so you will need Acrobat Reader to open it.  Almost all computers have this reader installed.  If you don't have it, it is free online and you can find it easily by either searching for Acrobat Reader or going straight to Adobe's web site.  You should have this utility on your computer anyway!
